Sulfuron Strategy

  1. There are probally 3-4 strategies on the net for this boss. The one DtF has found to be easy and relable is listed.
  2. A tank (Warrior or Paladin) will be assigned each guard. A tank will tank Sulfuron Harbinger.
  3. The first guard will be killed by a warrior and be killed at the top of the hill near where you first run into Sulfuon's little room.
  4. A healer will be assigned each tank or 2 tanks to keep them up.
  5. A paladin will be assigned a tank or 2 to cleanse as needed as well.
  6. Guards 2-4 will be tanked down the ramp by the smoke spouts. The healers and paladins of these tanks will be at max range to avoid being a subject of thier DOTs.
  7. A hunter will pull that guard up to the warrior and the raid will kill it.
  8. Each guard being killed needs to be Kicked, Shield Bashed, Counterspelled to keep it from healing.
  9. Positioning of these guards is important so they are not too close to the other guards and thus get heals from them.
  10. When this one is kill the next tank brings thier guard up and repeat the same strategy. Healers and paladins of the tank move up as well unless they were assigned 2 tanks. If this is the case the healer and paladin of the 1st guard move down to meet them 1/2 way and then move up with them to keep them alive.
  11. This is also done for the 3rd one.
  12. The fourth one the raid moves down to kill where it is currently being tanked.
  13. At all times a Judgement of Wisdom and Light is on the guard being killed. This allow manna to regenerated and allows the melee to heal themselves some.
  14. After all the guards are killed everyone moves to kill Sulfuron Harbinger. Making sure a Judgement of Wisdom and Light is on it at all times as well.
