Razorgore Strategy
This fight is designed for a well balanced raid. The Razorgore fight occurs in two phases:
Phase One: Destroy the Eggs!
- The raid charges Grethok the Controller. MT grabs controller. One tank grabs right guard. Another tank grabs left guard. Kill Grethok first, then one guard, then the other. There is a short "Out of Combat" stage here for eating/drinking if you are quick.
- A tank will use the Orb to Mind Control Razorgore. This person's job is to use Razorgore's attacks to kill eggs. Destroy the eggs on the platform first, then work from the south of the room up to the north.
- You must be standing still for this to work. It is a 3 sec cast on a 7 sec cooldown. Easy to create a macro with this command:/script CastPetAction(4) This will allow you to put that ability anywhere on your ui even if you normally do not have a pet bar.
- This person will also sleep dragonkin from time to time as Razorgore has an instant cast sleep dragon ability. /script CastPetAction(5)
- While the tank is controlling Razorgore, mobs will spawn in the room (keep the control platform clear so that the channeling Mind Control isn't interrupted!):
- Dragonkin - Very Heavy melee damage. These will need to be feared or slept. Possibly some can be kited by tanks.
- Blackwing Legionnaire (Orc) - Heavy melee damage. These should be kited by tanks or hunters.
- Blackwing Mage (Orc) - Heavy AOE damage. These cannot be kited and need to be killed by the raid. They die easy. Rogues should tank these if need be
- Once the Mind Controlled Razorgore kills all the eggs, the adds will go away.
Phase Two: Kill Razorgore!
This is a ranged fight. He is not tauntable. Do not expect any heals. If you are damaged, run out of line-of-sight and bandage.
- The last person to use the orb will gain agro instantly. This agro is huge and cannot be pulled off before the 1st conflaguration hits or that person dies. Thus the last person controlled the orb should be one of the 2 tanks.
- Tanks stay on different sides of Razorgore to avoid being Conflagrated at the same time. Tank him in the corner of the room closest to where the last egg was destroyed.
- Ranged DPS kills him while keeping a low aggro profile. Melee should consider healing the ranged with bandages.
Class Specific Advice
- Rogues - Attack Blackwing Mages. Stunlock them as best you can. Use Mind Numbing Poison mainhand, Crippling Poison offhand.
- Warriors - Train adds around with Piercing Howl.
- Hunters - Assist with traps or kite with serpent sting, distracting shot, arcane shot
- Warlocks - Either fear Dragonkin or assist to kill the Mages if the Dragonkin are being kited instead.
- Mages - Sheep Legionnaires that have not yet been picked up for kiting. Assist Kill Mages.
- Druids - Sheep Dragonkin. Cast Heal-over-Time heals on the kiters.
- Paladins - Primary healers on the kiters due to your lowered aggro on your heals and ability to survive any heal aggro.
- Priests - Heal kiters with Heal-over-Time heals and Power Word: Shield.
Alternate Strategy for killing Razorgore
- Phase 1.A
- Paladin controls Razorgore and destroys the eggs on the plafrom where Razorgore starts
- Paladin moves to engage the mobs with Razorgores Fireball Volley and Cleave abilites. Continuing this until there are the maxium number of Orcs and Dragokin spawned (about 40 Orcs and 12 Dragonkin)
- Orc Mages are still killed by the raid due to thier aoe ability
- Dragonkin/Orc Legonaires are still slept/sheeped until Razorge gets them all on him
- Phase 1.B
- Paladin breaks MC and begins to kite all 52 mobs with Concecration
- Another paladin and priest runs with him, taking more shortcuts, healing him when needed (priest with shields and HOT and the paladin with direct heals)
- Orc Mages are still killed by the raid
- Orc Legonaires/Dragonkin in the train or any new one that spawn when the mages die are slept/sheeped until they are following the paladin
- Warriors with Piercing Howl follow the paladin keeping the 52 mobs slowed down
- Hunters occasionally FD/Frost trap to slow down the group
- Raid keeps that 1 paladin alive and kills the Orc Mages that spawn
- MT/OT Controls Razorgore and breaks the eggs
- Phase 2
- Same as normal a long Drak fight with 2 tanks

Here is a google video I found which is great for what the tanks need to do while kiting.

Another look from the horde perspective. Very informative but obviously have to be adapted for the alliance.
