Phase 1 Strategy

Gothik's room is split into two parts. Half the raid should remain in the near side (living side), and half the raid should cross over to the far side (undead side). When the fight begins, a gate will close and separate the two sides. During Phase 1, Gothik is immune to all damage and the raid must kill waves of adds (see above). On each side, the tank and melee fight far from ranged DPS and healers so they can avoid AoE damage. Each time an add on the living side dies, it's soul flies over to the undead side. At that point, the undead side must kill it. Priority is on killing and tanking elites, first Riders and Horses, then Death Knights. Somebody on the living side should call out whenever an Unrelenting Rider dies to warn the undead team. There are about 19 waves with a total 35 adds. At 4:34 into the fight, Gothik will teleport into the living side. This begins Phase 2.

Gothik the Harvester (Phase 2)

• Shadowbolt: (Shadow) nuke

This spell has a 1 second cast time, and hits the tank for 2880 to 3520 Shadow damage.

• Harvest Soul: Stacking debuff and timer

Cast every 15 seconds. Reduces the stats of the entire raid by 10%. After 10 stacks, the entire raid will die.

Phase 2 Strategy

At this point, the fight is a simple tank and spank. At the start of Phase 2, the two sides are still sealed off. Gothik starts phase to on the living side. Every 10 seconds, he will teleport to the opposite side. When Gothik is on the opposite side, he is out of LoS, so take this opportunity to bandage, heal and/or regen. When he reaches 30% health, the gate will open, allowing both sides to DPS at once. The key to this fight is surviving the phase 1 so that enough DPS remains to kill Gothik before the Harvest Soul debuff stacks to 10.
