25 Man Dungeons

The Battle of Mount Hyjal

The Battle of Mount Hyjal was the conflict where the Horde, Alliance, and night elves joined forces to defeat the armies of the Burning Legion and destroy Archimonde. The battle formed the final mission of Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, and will be featured in World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade. (http://www.wowwiki.com/Battle_of_Mount_Hyjal)

Black Temple

  • Location: Shadowmoon Valley, Outland
  • Level: 70
  • Final Boss: Illidan Stormrage
  • Number of players: 25

Having changed hands many times over the generations, the Black Temple is now the fortress-citadel of Illidan Stormrage, Lord of Outland. Illidan the Betrayer stands as the lord of Outland and rules his domain from a massive, black iron ziggurat. Ner'zhul was originally responsible for this hulking edifice, but now blood elves, naga, and illidan's few other allies roam its corridors. The naga live in underground sewers, and the upper levels team with blood elves, traps, evil and death. Rumors tell that beneath the citadel sprawls a great prison, trapped within are heroes from previous wars, languishing in unknown solitude. (http://www.wowwiki.com/Black_Temple)

The Eye (Tempest Keep)

  • Number of players: 25

Gruul's Lair

  • Location: Blade's Edge Mountains
  • Level: 70
  • Final Boss: High King Maulgar
  • Number of players: 25

Raid dungeon in Blade's Edge Mountains. An "Onyxia sized" instance containing two encounters.

Gruuls Lair is designed for players of the level 70. There is a bug with the meeting stone saying 65-68.....a 65-68 instance would NOT be offering tier 4 and level 70 required items. When you are levels 65-69 in beta you do not even have the option to join the queue for a group for Gruul's Lair, nor any level 70 raids at that. (http://www.wowwiki.com/Gruul%27s_Lair)

Magtheridon's Lair

HCMagtheridonsLair.jpg

  • Location: Hellfire Citadel, Hellfire Peninsula (Outland)
  • Level: 70
  • Boss: Magtheridon
  • Number of players: 25

Magtheridon's Lair will be a raid wing of the Hellfire Citadel dungeon in Outland. It has been confirmed by Blizzard that it will be a quick, raid encounter (like Onyxia's Lair, which contains four "guard mobs" before the boss, Onyxia. (http://www.wowwiki.com/Magtheridon%27s_Lair)

Serpentshrine Cavern

  • Location Coilfang Reservoir, Zangarmarsh
  • Level: 70
  • Final Boss: Lady Vashj
  • Number of Players: 25

This is the final part of the Coilfang Reservoir, a 25-man raid. It will contain Lady Vashj as the boss. Believed to be an Onyxia style raid. (http://www.wowwiki.com/Serpentshrine_Cavern)

Zul'Aman

  • Location: Southeastern Ghostlands.
  • Level: 70
  • Number of Players: 10 or 25 (confirmed to be a raid)

Once, the forest trolls controlled a large section of northern Lordaeron called Zul'Aman, though the area that is now called Zul'Aman, a small region in the northeast of the continent, is all that remains after humans and high elves banded together to push back the savage trolls. However, the trolls have never been content with their current situation, and have never forgiven the humans or elves for the trolls' near genocide. Now that the Scourge has ravaged much of the continent, the trolls of Zul'Aman have been pressing forward once again to reclaim their former kingdom. Though the forest trolls dominate Zul'Aman (led by the grizzled old troll, Jin'zakk), there are other inhabitants in this region, such as small bands of high elves, who fled from Quel'Thalas when the undead attacked their land. Scourge patrols, hunting the high elven refugees, also stalk the region. (http://www.wowwiki.com/Zul%27Aman)
