"Remember, you can't build a mechanical whistleing machine without a Whistleclank whistle!"

Tootsa Whistleclank is the oldest of three daughters in the famous engineering Whistleclank family. Tootsa escaped the catastrophy in Gnomeregan with her youger sisters Poggle and Tweedles.

Making her way in the world Tootsa choose to follow some, but not all, of her family's traditions. Engineering was not one of Tootsa's strong suits, a shame for a gnome from an engineering family. But nothing could help it. From the day she picked up her first wrench and used it to hammer a screw into a piece of sheet metal, her parents knew she should not be allowed near explosives.

Fashioning a small thimble so she wouldn't poke her fingers, Tootsa took up the art of tailoring. (to her delight, her sister Poggle was not any more interested in engineering than she and when she took up tailoring, Tootsa passed her thimble on to her sister. Her sister unfortunatly was then lured back to engineering by the gnomeish aviators, and last Tootsa saw her thimble it was part of the steering column of a gnomish flying machine.)

Tootsa did however follow in the family tradition of the Warlock arts. These abilities came naturally to her, largely because she loves animals, and pets of all kinds. And from the time she was a wee one she loved watching her family summon pet imps, voidwalkers, succubi, and her favorite- felhunters.

With her trusty dreadsteed Imbri, and her felhunter Czaathan, Tootsa is indeed a fearsome adversary for any horde marauder.

Tootsa married her childhood sweetheart, a dwarf named Qex. Qex has the task of preventing Tootsa from adopting too many pets. But unfortunatly for him, she has so far snuck into the house a prarie chicken, an ancona chicken, a mechanical chicken, a mechanical squirrel, a crimson whelpling who sets fire to the drapes, and a sprite darter who..um...piddles when he gets nervous, and, Qex swears, at least three worg puppies, though he can't be certain...he never can manage to find more than one at a time, but they are never the same color. He also found books entitled "A Guide to Domesticating Spiderlings" and "Feline Fancy: The Dalaran Longhair, (common name: Black Tabby)" and decided he really should have a chat with his wife.

But, then again, who can say no to the cute little pouty eyes of a gnome in a pet store...
